Katleho Tsolo, better known as Mokukadinepe. To call him just a photographer would be like calling the ocean “just water.” He’s not in it for the clicks, he’s in it for the soul.
I discovered his work in 2021 while preparing for Miss Lejweleputswa. I remember thinking: “I need this man behind my portfolio.” The shoot didn’t happen then (the universe was clearly still warming up), but his work? It stayed with me, haunting in the best way possible. His photos don’t just sit pretty on a feed. They speak, whisper and sometimes scream. They live.
Later that year, fate did the thing it does, his brother invited me to a pantsula shoot. That was the beginning of something wild. From that moment, I didn’t just see his talent; I felt it. He doesn’t capture people, he captures presence. His lens doesn’t just freeze time; it gives it a heartbeat.

Working with him felt like stepping into a visual prayer I didn’t know I had whispered. We’ve done a few shoots since then, and let me just say, our collaborations? Unmatched! I'm talking visuals that still make my jaw drop. We created magic. Sick, soulful, real magic.

Mokukadinepe’s creativity dances somewhere between street rawness and spiritual precision. He sees what the eye can’t. He directs with intuition. He edits like he’s sculpting memories. Every frame is a feeling. And the best part? He does it all without making it about himself, the work speaks, loudly, and he just lets it echo.
Looking up to him isn’t just about the art. It’s about the heart, the hustle, the humility. He reminds me that photography isn’t just about what’s in front of the lens, it’s about what you carry behind it: vision, intention, soul.
Mokukadinepe is a creative force who, whether he knows it or not, has shaped how I see myself and the world around me. His name is Katleho Tsolo. But you can call him Mokukadinepe, the man who doesn’t just take photos... he leaves footprints in pixels.
